1. Build an Epic Pillow Fort

Nothing is more fun than building the most epic pillow fort ever with your family! Along with fluffy pillows, use sheets, comforters, chairs, couches, and whatever you can to make a comfy oasis fit for everyone in the fam! To take your pillow fort hideaway to the next level, decorate it with stuffed animals, fairy lights, and more to add your vibe.

2. Have an Awesome Family Dance Party

Have every member of your family or group contribute to a dance party playlist, then at night, turn up the music and go wild! Come up with your own dances, take turns with solos, and get everyone’s heart pumping. Plus, you could always go on YouTube and find guided dances if you need some inspiration.

3. Throw a Family or Group Sleepover Party Palooza

Sleepovers are the blueprint for fun at home. Think about everything that makes sleepovers great: snacks, gossip, spa treatments, and more. Planning a night full of sleepover activities is sure to be great bonding time.

4. Have a Cooking Competition

Take turns creating (hopefully) delicious concoctions from your kitchen. Assign family or group members to be chefs or judges and establish a scoring criteria. Then, set the timer and let the chefs do their thing. Once the time is up, have the chefs name their creation and present it to the judges, who will then taste it and give it a score. The person with the highest score wins!

5. Compete in a Fierce Game Tournament

You can fill an entire day or night with fun having a fierce game tournament – whether you use video games, board games, games where you don’t need electricity or all of the above! To inspire you, here are some options in each category. Video games: Mario Kart, Mario Party, Super Smash Bros, Boomerang Foo, Pico Park, and Jackbox Games. Board games: Monopoly, Wingspan, Life, Apples to Apples, Ticket to Ride, Villainous, Taboo, Bought Red Handed, and Clue. No equipment games: Mafia, Ninja, Hide and Go Seek, Dead Man, Tag, Four Corners, Heads Up, and Charades.

6. Test Your Movie Limits With a Movie Marathon Night

Using your private movie den inside your Encore Resort home, watch your favorite movie until you can’t anymore. If you need movie marathon ideas here are a few: Harry Potter, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Fast and Furious, Back to the Future, Despicable Me, and, of course, any of the Disney movies!

7. Have a Fabulous Photo Shoot

Go put on your vacation best and get your self camera ready – it’s time for a family or group photo shoot! Decide on a variety of coordinated looks (themes, colors, etc.) for different photo shoots throughout the day or night. You can do big group photos or family shots. Plus, there are so many picturesque areas around your Encore Resort home, you’ll be sure to find the perfect backdrop for all your photos!
