Is this a Timeshare?
No, this is not a timeshare; it is a vacation rental home with the amenities of a resort. You can rent the vacation home for a few days just like booking a hotel room. You get the space and privacy of a home with all the amenities and experiences of a resort.
A timeshare typically involves multiple individuals or families jointly owning a property for a specified period each year. They usually purchase the right to use the property for a set amount of time annually, often for a week or two. On the other hand, a vacation rental refers to the temporary rental of a property, such as a house, condo, or townhome, for a short period, usually for a few days or weeks. Unlike timeshares, vacation rentals are not owned jointly; they are leased out for short-term stays to tourists and travelers.
What time is check-in/check-out? Do you provide late check-out?
Check-in is 4 PM and check-out is 10 AM, located at the clubhouse: 7635 Fairfax Drive, Kissimmee, FL 34747. You must be 21 and older. You may place a request for late check-out, but it is not guaranteed. Late check-outs are done through the front desk.
Is there a security deposit at the time of check-in?
There is a $1,000 refundable incidental deposit upon check-in.
I’d like to authorize another person to check-in on my behalf. How do I do that?
We will need to send a Credit Card Authorization form. Please contact us for more information.
How far is the property from the attractions? Is there transportation to attractions?
We are located within 10 to 15 minutes from Walt Disney World and 20 to 25 minutes from SeaWorld Orlando and Universal Orlando Resort. We offer complimentary shuttles to theme parks. Reservations are required and can be confirmed with Concierge. We also provide shuttle service to Orlando International Airport for an additional charge.
Is there a supermarket nearby?
Yes. There is a nearby Publix Super Market (4.7 miles) and Walmart (3.2 miles).
Are all homes set up the same?
No, each home is unique and provides varied features. We offer 4- to 13-bedroom homes with different views, in-home amenities (game rooms, private pools, etc.), bed sizes and setup, and square footage. We are happy to provide any guidance on what residence will work best for your group.
Do you allow pets?
We are a pet-friendly resort. There is a $40 + tax daily fee.
Is there a resort fee? What does it include?
Resort fees vary per home, please contact us for more specific rates. The resort fee includes:
- Unlimited local and toll-free calls
- In-room coffee
- Access to restaurants, bars, and the Encore Coffee House
- Transportation to all major attractions
- Access to resort pools with pool towels provided
- Complimentary Wi-Fi
- Access to Water Park
- Daily and nightly entertainment
- 24-hour access to Fitness Center
- Concierge services
- Daily and overnight self-parking
Do all homes have a private pool and spa? Is there an additional cost for heating?
All homes do have a private pool. Not all homes have a spa, although we are able to put in a request for a private spa. Pool heat is available for an additional nightly fee of $40 from May through October, and $60 from November through April.
Are we allowed extra guests or visitors to stay with us?
The only guests permitted to stay at the resort and access amenities are those on the primary guest list.
Is there a minimum length of stay?
Yes, there is a 2-night minimum length of stay.
What kind of parking is available for guests?
Complimentary self-parking is available throughout the resort, although parking on the street is not permitted. Additional overflow parking is located in the Westside, Eastside, and at the Clubhouse.
Can passes be purchased for the Water Park?
No, our Water Park is only available to Encore Resort guests staying on property.
Is there dining or catering available? Is there a spending minimum for catering?
Yes, for dining, we have multiple options: Finns Restaurant, Bis Grill, Shark Lounge, and Encore Coffee House. For catering, we have a full-service team ready for all events. We also offer grocery delivery service and chef & bartender experience. Minimum spending will depend on the type of space you are requiring. What wedding/event/meeting space do you have on site?
We have several options for private events. Our third-floor terrace offers space for up to 50 guests, our outdoor gazebo and lawn space features tropical foliage and is conveniently located just outside our clubhouse, and we also offer a private dining room for smaller events. Please contact concierge or our events team and they will be able to assist with rentals.
What is the hold time for group blocks? Can we book homes that are next to each other?
Our standard hold time is 30 days prior to arrival. We try our best to block groups near each other. This will depend on availability at the time.
Do you offer ADA-compliant accommodations and amenities?
Yes, we offer some homes that include roll-in showers, lights, ground floor bedrooms, and ramps. Resort pools also offer chair lifts and all public areas are ADA-accessible. Please contact concierge for more information.
Is there 24/7 on-site security?
Yes, we have security on-site at all times and a manned entrance gate.
Are there limits for noise and events on site?
Yes, the county noise ordinances apply to all resorts in the area and require amplified noise to cease by 10 PM nightly.
Can I have a package shipped to the resort during my stay?
Yes. We charge a handling fee based on the size and weight of the package:
- $2 for envelopes
- $5 for packages weighing up to 25 pounds.
- $10 for packages weighing 26 to 75 pounds.
- $25 for packages weighing over 75 pounds.
