The Fairway FAQ's
Check out the questions below for helpful tips and answers to make planning your Walt Disney World® Golf experience easy and stress free.
-
You bet. Each Walt Disney World® Golf course offers rental clubs, with more than 100 sets available every day. Just let us know what you need when you make your tee time, and we’ll have everything ready so you can step right up and start swinging.
-
Each golfer needs their own set of clubs and bag to play at Walt Disney World® Golf. No sharing on the course, but no worries. If you’re traveling with more than one player in a bag, extra golf bags are available on site to keep everyone teed up and ready to play.
-
Absolutely. Walt Disney World® Golf partners with Ship Sticks to make traveling with your clubs a breeze. Enjoy easy, door-to-door shipping straight to the course and back home again, so you can focus on the fun, not the logistics.
-
They sure are. Golf carts are included with your greens fee at Walt Disney World® Golf. Each cart is shared by two players and comes ready for comfort and convenience with windshields, club covers, a cooler, and sand for divot repair. Just hop in and enjoy the ride to your next great shot.
-
To keep play flowing, carts are required on the three championship courses at Walt Disney World® Golf. Guests who prefer to walk are welcome to enjoy Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course, a charming 9 hole layout designed for an easygoing, walkable round.
-
Yes. Four seat family carts can be requested ahead of time and are offered on a first come, first served basis, based on availability at check in. Non playing riders are welcome to join the fun for a $20 per person fee. For safety and comfort on the course, babies, toddlers, and children who cannot sit upright on their own are unable to ride along.
-
While reservations are the best way to lock in your ideal tee time, walk up golfers are welcome when availability allows. Singles and twosomes tend to find the most flexibility. You can book online or call the Golf Master Starter at 407-WDW-GOLF or 407-939-4653, and we’ll help tee up your perfect round.
-
Arriving about 30 minutes before your tee time gives you plenty of time to check in, grab your cart, and warm up before the first swing. It’s the perfect way to ease into your round and start the fun right on time.
-
Plans change, and we get it. Tee times should be canceled or adjusted at least 24 hours in advance to avoid potential charges. Updates can be made online if you booked digitally or by reaching out to the Golf Master Starter, and we’ll be happy to help.
-
Outside food, drinks, and personal coolers aren’t permitted on Walt Disney World® Golf Courses. No worries though. Refreshment carts roll through during your round, and your golf cart cooler can be filled with ice by our refreshment team to keep things cool while you play.
-
Yes. After your round at Walt Disney World® Golf, clubs may be left with Guest Services for safe overnight storage. Everything will be ready and waiting for the next day’s tee time, making it easy to enjoy more golf with less to carry.
-
Yes. Each clubhouse features locker rooms and showers for guest comfort. Locker use is complimentary, and keys may be picked up at the Pro Shop before or after a round.
-
Golfers are asked to dress the part with proper golf attire. Denim is not permitted. Non metal spike golf shoes or tennis shoes are welcome, along with collared shirts, slacks, skirts, or Bermuda length shorts for both men and women. Comfortable, classic, and course ready is always a great look.
-
To keep the game moving at a comfortable pace, Walt Disney World® Golf groups players into foursomes whenever possible. Tee times are limited to a maximum of four players, creating a smooth and enjoyable round for everyone on the course.
-
Yes. Spectators are welcome to walk along with playing guests as long as they stay with the group and keep pace of play. Rider carts for non players are limited and may be available during off peak times, making it easy to cheer on your favorite golfer.
-
For everyone’s safety, babies, toddlers, and children who require close adult supervision are not permitted on the golf course. Little ones can still join the fun nearby at the putting course located near Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course Clubhouse, a playful way to enjoy the golf atmosphere together.
