How far is Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon® Water Park from Encore Resort?
The water park is about 8 miles from Encore Resort, or roughly 15 to 20 minutes by car depending on traffic. It’s close enough for a half-day getaway or a full day of sun, slides, and splashes!
Does Encore Resort offer complimentary shuttles to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon® Water Park?
At this time, Encore Resort doesn’t currently offer a shuttle to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon® Water Park, but getting there is easy! The park is just a quick drive away, and our concierge team will be happy to help arrange transportation or share the best directions so you can be splashing in the waves in no time.
What are the park’s operating hours?
Hours can change with the season or special events. The best way to check current hours is through the My Disney Experience app or the official Walt Disney World® Resort website before your visit.
Are lockers, towels, and life jackets available?
Yes. Lockers and towels can be rented near the entrance, and complimentary life jackets are provided for guests of all ages and sizes. It’s easy to store your belongings and stay safe while enjoying the water.
What happens if it rains or storms?
Safety always comes first. If lightning or severe weather occurs, some attractions may close temporarily. Most reopen once the weather clears so the fun can continue.
